In 2012, Deep Silver, the publishing company, tasked Techland with the development of the game, but Techland decided to work on another survival horror video game named Dying Light. The Dead Island 2 Released on 21 April 2023, so not much time is left considering the initial announcement of the game that was made back in 2014. Now, the long wait for the much-awaited game is over and we finally have a release date. The developers also stated the reasons for the late that have been caused in the release of the game. It is a survival horror RPG and is speculated to be much better than its predecessors – Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. Dead Island 2 will be the third main instalment of the Dead Island video game series. At Gamescom 2022, the Dead Island 2 release date of the much-awaited game was announced.
